Originally published by the Inter-State Publishing Company in 1886, this is the first dedicated history of Clinton County, Indiana on record.
Released now by Book Troll Press in association with the Clinton County Historical Society, this three-volume reproduction made from scans of the original is intended as an inexpensive, friendly version for the casual reader.
The cover illustrations are taken from the 1878 Atlas we digitized.
All profits for these books will go to the Clinton County Historical Society. Click the links above to order through Blurb.com. They are not available anywhere else.
Please also be aware that this was a book written in 1886. As such, it is an artifact of its time, and the first volume should not be purchased with a view to reading it as a reliable state history. For a good one-volume history, Hoosiers: A New History of Indiana by James H. Madison is a good choice.
