Patriot Grave Marking
When the call was given to bring forth this great Nation, a few brave men answered the plea. They were willing to bear the physical and financial burdens of fighting for freedom. We are honored to have at least ten Revolutionary War soldiers buried in Clinton County, Indiana. The Captain Harmon Aughe Chapter of DAR is working to have the resting place of each of these brave men marked as a Patriot grave site. In order to do this, we must provide proof that the person buried here is the same man who did indeed serve in the Revolutionary War. Then, we will present a memorable and worthwhile event as we commemorate this Patriot’s service to our country.
This year’s honored Patriot is Robert Wright. Click the icons below for more information about his dedication, other Patriot grave markers, and a list of soldier’s grave sites that have yet to be marked.
